This well-respected and uncommon 1975 Kawasaki F11 250 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – mirror and exhaust emblem being the most obvious. We also noted that there is a hole in the headlight rim.
This is the actual bike for sale – Not library pictures from 49 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A true time warp machine!
The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy and working brakes.
The forks and yokes look straight but are slightly pitted.
Instruments look ok and switches move freely.
The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.
The paintwork is quite bright but has a few marks.
The fuel tank is clean inside and underside feels solid.
The seat base is in good condition throughout.
The standard exhaust is solid.
The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
